FAQ
Are all your olive oils cold-pressed?
Yes, all our olive oils are cold-pressed and meet the highest "extra virgin" category. This is certified by independent institutes.
What does organic actually mean for olive oil?
All our oils are certified organic. This means that we avoid using chemical fertilizers or insecticides during cultivation, thus protecting the environment and nature.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is via DHL and typically takes one to two business days. If you order before 10 a.m., it will be shipped the same day.
Can I also pick up my order?
You are welcome to pick up your order from us in Frankfurt am Main. You will receive the address after placing your order.
How should I store the olive oil afterwards?
Olive oil should be stored in a cool, dry place; after opening, it's best to store it in a cupboard. Unopened bottles or canisters are best stored in the cellar.
Can olive oil spoil?
Over time, the oil can become somewhat rancid, so you should never store it openly. However, olive oil doesn't spoil like fresh food.
Are you actually committed to the climate?
By bottling all our oils in Frankfurt, we save significant amounts of CO2 and thus contribute to climate protection. Both production and logistics are handled by the Frankfurter Verein, which employs people with intellectual disabilities. We purchase all our materials, such as packaging, from suppliers in Germany. This means much less has to be transported across Europe. You can also dispose of all filling materials in the organic waste bin when you send us your parcels.
